You went into business to do what you love, right?
I founded Cents & Sensibility in 2008 when I became aware of the growing need for affordable financial expertise in the small business & nonprofit sectors. I’ve seen too many business owners and managers become frustrated even to the point of burnout because their strengths and passions lie elsewhere.
Providing solutions is what drives me.
I hold a Masters of Science in Management from the University of Colorado and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Studies from the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship.
In my free time… (wait, WHAT free time??) I enjoy hiking with the hubby and dogs, reading, and experiencing all the wonders of our beautiful state.
I graduated from Florida State University and I have been working in the Office Management / Bookkeeping field since 2003. I have worked with a variety of small businesses in the Denver area including, a catering company with 75 employees, an animal hospital with 10 employees. Each location offered a unique experience regarding their bookkeeping needs. In 2013 I began working solely with Cents and Sensibility. My work history has given me the opportunity to experience a broad range of situations and solutions. My goal is to provide quality bookkeeping solutions to small businesses who wish to focus more on their own company’s goals and growth. When I’m not working, I enjoy travel, concerts, theatre and entertaining friends and family at home with my husband.
